Well in looking around to see if there is any support for any of
theo's little USB GPS that are out there on the market like this ones

if they are seen as a serial interface, you might have luck with
the ucom driver (man ucom)

I believe they are - I have an Etrex Vista I can try to make sure that=20
it does, but I'm fairly certain there are a handful of tools the grab=20
the data in many different formats (NMEA certainly) and can dump them to=
=20
text files, or whatever.

Anyone have any good experience with these tools?
I also have an eTrex Vista (which is great!) and I can confirm that it
does work with GPSDRIVE, which uses gpsd.
